Self-Acceptance

A Science-Based Learning Journey

Discover psychological theories on self-acceptance, boost your self-confidence and satisfaction, and transform your quality of life through this 10-week group learning program.Delivered by Timi Csontos

Treat yourself like you would treat a good friend.

You probably get what this means, but let's be honest – it's easier said than done, right?

  • How often do you actually treat yourself like a dear friend?

  • How accepting, forgiving, and caring are you toward yourself?

  • Think about it: when someone else is being self-critical, what do you do? Now, what do you do when you're the one being self-critical?

If your relationship with yourself isn't great or tends to go up and down, it shows up everywhere – in your thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

The ripple effects can be pretty significant:

  • lower self-esteem,

  • constant self-doubt,

  • that harsh inner voice,

  • negative emotions,

  • pessimism,

  • trouble enjoying your wins,

  • and automatically dismissing compliments.

Research tells us that your relationship with yourself may impact your overall well-being.1

The good news: you can change your relationship with yourself.

Positive psychology is all about helping people live richer, more fulfilling lives and really thrive.Look, struggling with self-acceptance and confidence isn't the end of the world, but it sure can make life harder than it needs to be.

What is self-acceptance?

Self-acceptance means embracing who you are - strengths, weaknesses, and all your emotions- without judging your worth as a person or comparing yourself to others.

When we get better at accepting ourselves, we open the door to experiencing more joy and success. 2

"Timi's course was a truly transformative experience. It helped me understand how I function and — more importantly — how to shift things gently, through awareness and conscious choice rather than pressure. Her explanations were always clear, practical, and deeply insightful. What made it so powerful was the space Timi created: safe, supportive, and grounded in genuine kindness. At the same time, her knowledge is both intuitive and impressively well-researched — often drawing from both local and international sources to offer a rich, integrated perspective. While I already felt shifts during the course, it's only with a few years of distance that I fully grasp how deeply it impacted my life. I’ve become more confident and true to myself — which led to some big changes: I moved back home after years abroad, entered a relationship that feels truly aligned, and in my career, I’ve learned to stand up for myself, recognize my value, and grow in a way that feels authentic. There are still techniques and ideas from the course that I return to regularly. They continue to support me, especially in moments of challenge or transition.(Even my relationships changed: I let go of some with love, and welcomed new ones based on honesty and openness.)
Overall, my life is more grounded, clear, and true to who I am — and Timi’s course played a huge role in that.
I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking deep, lasting inner change in a truly compassionate space."

from me to you

An important note
– please read

This course focuses on sharing scientific insights, and we're all about future-focused growth and positive change – this isn't therapy or group therapy. That said, sometimes exploring these topics can bring up stuff from your past that you might want to work through. If that happens, you might benefit from some individual sessions with a professional alongside this course.I am a trained coach and behavioral analyst (but not a licensed psychologist), so while I can't provide therapeutic support, I can help you find the right professional if needed. Before you sign up, just make sure you're ready – both time-wise and financially – to take care of yourself if deeper work comes up during the program.Warmly,
Timi
